Ever wonder what those funny pictures on your yarn are for?

Clothes. Yarn. Material. It always has those funny little photos on it that just look like hieroglyphics of some forgotten land.

They do actually mean something that will help keep your beautiful works looking new and pretty for longer.

First off we have machine washing. This is just showing which setting to put on your washer (if it goes in at all).

The next important setting for washing is the temperature. Hot water on those cottons will shrink up that hard work pretty quick!

Those whites aren't looking quite so white anymore... can I put some bleach in to spruce that up a bit? Well here's the answer!

Some yarns just don't like being put in the wash or in the dryer. These little guys will tell you.

Now for the next beast in the washing process. The Dryer.

Some people absolutely hate to have wrinkles in anything. Me, I don't even own an iron. I hate the things. But in case you want to destroy the wrinkles instead of your hard work, check for these symbols.

I hope this will help you keeping your hard work clean and beautiful for years to come!
